One of the pillars of the IM scene, Yahoo! Messenger is also available on Pocket PC as a simple application to chat with your friends and check your favourite news. The program offers a simple user interface and the different sections like News, Sports, Stock Prices and Weather are divided in tabs at the bottom of the screen. The messaging client has all the Yahoo! Emoticons and you can start chatting right away by using the ***board in the Pocket PC touch screen.
Compared to other IM applications on Windows Mobile, we expected Yahoo! Messenger to be a bit better equipped. The preferences menu only allows you to configure the connection settings and lets you choose from only 4 different sound alerts. Your contact list can be updated but you can only change the name and nickname given to your friends.
Yahoo! Messenger has the bare necessities to get you started chatting on your Pocket PC. Thanks to its tabbed interface you’ll be able to follow up the news on the fly. However it lacks the advanced features and extended customization to fight off competition of excellent alternatives like IM+ or Agile Messenger.

UI Tweaker - v0.5.4.4
UI Tweaker is a collection of 4 utilities used to customise the outlook and color scheme of the Pocket PC. This collection includes a simple theme manager and utilities to change the system colors as well as the Today color scheme. It includes PT Explorer, TdyScheme Changer, WM5Color Changer and SysColor Changer. As this application is still under testing and development, I would love to gather suggestions from the users.
WM5Color Changer is only compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0.

S2U2 v1.40(2008/12/29)
S2U2 is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device. It has CallerID function (but may not work on some devices, so please try it first); S2P control plugin; and volume control.
Changes of v1.40:
- added option "Power Save Mode"; default is on (1). It aims to save
the power:
1. by stopping all S2U2's activities when the device is turned off
(including when the screen is off only);
2. by not interfering the power management which is already done by
the OS;
3. suggest users to try it with the default values of "Safe Mode" (0) &
"Don't Suspend Power" (0);
4. suggest to soft-reset the device after the installation of this version or
changed this setting.
(However, if it's found S2U2 consumes more power than before,
suggest to disable "Power Save" (0). Then S2U2 would run in the same

1. The SMS came from a partner phone. (You need to register the phone as a partner phone first).
2. The password is correct. Password is based on the password that you have saved when you configure SmartProtect on your phone. The password is authenticated by the phone once the SMS Command is received.
3. When the SMS Command is correct.
The SMS commands syntax is :

getIMEI - Retrieves the IMEI Number
lockMyPhone - makes your phone unusable

deleteContacts -Deletes your mobile phone contacts. It does not delete the SIM Card Contacts.
unregisterPhone - Unregisters the sender as a partner phone.
disableSecurity - Disables the security mechanism of your phone. This requires restart to take effect.
enableSecurity - Enables the security mechanism of your phone.This requires restart to take effect.
getIMSI - Retrieves the IMSI Number.
alertContacts - alerts your contacts that your phone has been stolen.
getCellLocation - Gets the approximate location based on Cell Tower that your phone has registered to.
getGPSLocation - Retrieves the GPS Coordinates.
exitApp - When you use getGPSLocation command, this application stays in the memory. This command exits the application. However, this applications will still be activated if any of the command is received.
registerPhone - Registers your sender as partner phone number.
listCommands - List the commands available for the Software.

PlaylistMgr is a simple playlist editor for managing Windows Media Player playlists and it supports unicode. It also supports M3U/PLS playlist files as well as playlists for HTC Audio Manager. You can create or edit playlists easily and conveniently using this software. In addition, PlaylistMgr also helps you to manage your media streams and podcasts. Usage Notes
You can create a new playlist or open a ASX/M3U/PLS playlist for editing by using one of the options under the "File" menu.
You can also open a HTC Audio Manager playlist by going to File=>HTC Audio Manager=>Search Playlists.
You can add files into the playlist from Menu=>Add Media or using the buttons on the toolbar.
You can add a media stream by entering the URL in "Add URL" dialog.
You can use the context menu (tap & hold on single entry) or the arrows on the toolbar to move a selected track up/down the playlist.
Alternatively, you can also drag & drop a selecteted entry to the position you desire.
You can double click on a selected track to play it.
Under Menu=>Tools, you can find several useful functions which will help you clean up the playlist.
If you prefer to use soft***s rather than seeing the toolbar, you can switch the view mode using Menu=>Mode.
Use "Save Playlist" or "Save Playlist As ..." if you wish to save the playlist as a ASX/M3U/PLS file.
Go to "Save Playlist As ..." under File=>HTC Audio Manager if you use to save the playlist for HCT Audio Manager.
If you wish to change the default application to handle ASX files, you can go to File=>Association and choose the EXE file to associate ASX files with.
In the podcast management screen, you need to define the folder where the all the media files for the podcasts are kept.
You can double click on a media file in the list to play it.
Alternatively, you can click on "Play All" to play the playlist for the podcasts.
The playlist for the podcasts is automatically updated every time the podcast management screen is launched.
Alternatively, you can use "Create Shortcut" to create a shortcut for launching PlaylistMgr silently, updated the playlist for podcast and load it in the media player automatically.
Other Notes
Unicode is not supported for M3U/PLS files.
Please soft reset after saving playlist(s) for HTC Audio Manager to refresh the changes and/or new playlists.
You also need to remove all playlists that were created using HTC Audio Manager if you start using PlaylistMgr to create the playlists.

When you delete a file in a usual way, the file is in fact not deleted at all. Usually, all that happens is that the file's name is removed from the file system's index and the space occupied by the file is marked as available for new data


. However, as long as no new data is written on those locations, the 'deleted' file can still be recovered.
If you are selling or donating a Pocket PC, or if you just need to wipe some of the strictly confidential files, then SecuWipe is the tool for you.
Data sanitizing is the only secure way to remove traces of any strictly confidential and highly sensitive data. Standard file deletion leaves the contents of the "deleted" file on your device. Hard reset will only remove the addresses of files from the file system index, will overwrite some system files on the top, but large portions of your sensitive data will remain easily recoverable. Formatting the removable card is not an effective means either - since the files that contained personal details, bank account details, credit card numbers can be recovered too easily.
Data wiping ensures that you permanently erase all sensitive data, including files, folders, entire removable media cards, as well as all email, contacts, appointments and tasks' databases. It is impossible to restore any data that has been properly wiped.
SecuWipe is the solution to keep your Pocket PC privacy.
When you browse web, receive and send SMS or MMS messages, all this information is still discoverable on your device, even if you "delete" it.When you edit documents, containing confidential information, MS Word or Excel create one or more temporary copies of your document in the device memory, and these temporary copies are still there even after you finish working with the document. All this information can be easily recovered easily using data recovery utilities.
The solution to this is data wiping. Wipe confidential SMS messages, browsing history, cookies and all temporary files to ensure they will not get into wrong hands.

One quick look at your pocket pc and you see right away your appointments and more, when your schedule is free, full with appointments or somewhere in between. You will never miss anything or be overbooked. XemiCo Today Calendar will read information directly from Pocket Outlook and place them on your screen showing you not only your appointments, but also the whole month, with colors to mark your busy or free days.

Quit Smoking Trainer apporte son aide pour arrêter de fumer. Le programme enregistre les habitudes puis calcule une désaccoutumance graduelle. L'utilisateur peut perdre l'habitude de la cigarette - sans drogues, patch, chewing-gum ni peur.
Phase 1:
l'étape de l'enregistrement: au départ, l'utilisateur peut fumer comme d'habitude (31 premiers jours). Les données sont enregistrées par clic sur le bouton 'smoke' dans une base de données. L'information sert ensuite à la création d'un programme de désaccoutumance individuel. L'utilisateur peut sélectionner la durée du sevrage (de 10 à 40 jours).
Phase 2:
la désaccoutumance: l'utilisateur ne peut fumer que lorsque le programme l'autorise. Le modèle d'habitude est lentement modifié, où l'intervalle de temps entre les cigarettes est prolongé. Quit Smoking Trainer apprend quand la prochaine cigarette peut être fumée. Les dernières minutes d'attente sont difficiles à supporter, mais le fumeur app
rend à attendre de plus en plus longtemps. Le programme résulte de la combinaison de la technologie et du principe de la modification de comportement.
L'application contient une statistique, pour suivre les succès à partir du premier jour de la phase de désaccoutumance jusqu'à la dernière cigarette.
